The SuccessFinder career assessment tool has become a key resource for our MBA students to understand their strengths and identify areas for personal growth and development. The SuccessFinder results increase our students overall self-awareness level, a critical first step to building a long-term career strategy that leverages their natural abilities. For our career coaches, Pathfinder is an invaluable instrument that enables high impact career conversation with our students that objectively address areas for improvement.

Alain Gosselin, Ph.D., Fellow CRHA Directeur de l'École des dirigeants, McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA Program
SuccessFinder constituted a new addition to the "Reflective Mindset" module of the EMBA program of HEC-McGill. The quantitative feedback as well as subsequent coaching truly made an important difference in both the quality and depth of participants' introspection. A consensus was rapidly reached on the added value of Pathfinder and on our intention to integrate it permanently as part of our program.

York Region District School Board Teacher
As a leader in the educational innovation space, I have used a variety of tools to provide tangible value for my students. I strongly believe that today’s students need, more than ever, to understand their behavioural DNA and level of self-awareness.
The students I work with are very keen to learn more about themselves in terms of competencies, motivations and personal priorities. I work with a very diverse high school grouping that comes to me through the business stream. These students have already self-selected in terms of the business studies area but often are not sure of their direction or why they are here. Often it is parental, peer, or market influence, and there is little scientific or quantifiable data to support choices. I use the Successfinder tool to add rigor and discipline to the students’ information and understanding base.

Claire Hainstock, Head of Business Studies, York Region District School Board
Depending on the entry point with the students, the tool can help guide them in course, university programs, or ancillary training program selection. I stress the opportunity for students to consider their data and reports as they navigate post-secondary and see whether their choices are still valid or that they want to change.
To summarize, I find the Successfinder tool a significant means for helping high school students in the process of understanding their competencies, priorities, and motivations in the context of their school experience, their career aspirations, and their personal relationships with parents, teachers, and community.
Affirmation of Best Career Choices
I see the effect of the tool on students. The majority of our students say that they find the process very useful, and the one–on–one debrief is a key element to their understanding of the data and themselves in a contextualized environment. Often, it is a highlight of their senior years.
